Duties
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to students’ skill levels across guitar, piano, voice, and other instrumental music.
- Deliver engaging instruction in both visual and performing arts, emphasizing technique, musical theory, and performance skills.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a respectful, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Incorporate choreography, dance instruction, and theater elements into lessons to enhance artistic expression.
- Guide students through instrumental performance techniques while fostering creativity through improvisation and composition.
- Organize student performances, recitals, or showcases to celebrate progress and build confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development for youth programs and special arts projects; adapt teaching methods for preschool and adult learners.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching music, including guitar, piano, voice, or other instrumental disciplines.
- Strong background in curriculum development tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Experience working with children and youth programs; familiarity with childhood development principles.
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies to maintain an engaging learning environment.
- Skills in choreography, dance instruction (including ballet), theater arts, and performance techniques are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with visual arts such as photography or sewing is a plus for interdisciplinary arts integration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students of all ages; patience and adaptability are essential.
