Seeds of Faith Christian Academy is currently recruiting for a new Music teacher to join our outstanding faculty of teachers for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will have both a passion for music, as well as the ability to develop engaging and innovative lessons which allow our students to grow academically, socially and spiritually.
Courses include: General Music (K - 4), Middle/High School Music (5 - 12), Chorus (5 -12), Band (4 - 12)
The Music Instructor understands and demonstrates the ability to:
- Incorporate relationship with Jesus. Ready to change the world... one student at a time. Provide outstanding instruction in music education. Evaluate student performance on tasks and stay current in our school management system. Actively live a Christian witness and incorporate biblical integration. Be present at some school functions and perform additional teacher duties. Maintain a safe, orderly and supportive classroom by modeling expected behavior and standards, and promoting positive interactions. Recordkeeping student activities (FACTS) in accordance with school policies. Effectively communicate with parents concerning school related information. Exhibit a genuine nurturing and caring attitude to all children. Create meaningful lesson plans with a Christian worldview suitable for age and ability level of students using curriculum objectives. Design curriculum mapping to ensure completion of required curriculum. Plan meaningful and educational classwork, projects, homework, tests, and quizzes.
