Worship Leader Job Description
The primary responsibility is to plan and lead the Sunday Praise Worship service by establishing a schedule and rehearsing songs and musicians.
Responsible to: Lead Pastor
Qualifications:
God’s Calling as a worship leader
Proficiency with one or more of the following:
· Voice
· Piano
· Guitar
· Conducting
Proficiency with sound mixing
Proficiency with worship software (ProPresenter)
Duties:
1. Coordinate with Lead Pastor for the direction of the Praise Worship service
2. Lead Praise Worship service (Sunday 9:30 am)
3. Assist the Choir Director for Traditional Worship service (Sunday 11:00), as needed
4. Recruit and train Praise Worship musicians and rehearse weekly
5. Oversee technical aspects of production of sound/video for livestream.
6. Any and all reasonable requests related to the performance of these duties
Compensation:
Base compensation rate is negotiable based on experience but a minimum of $25.00/hour. Maximum per week is 10 hours.
Music allowance.
