We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Music Director to lead our vibrant musical programs and inspire our community through the power of music. Responsibilities

Develop and oversee the musical vision for worship services, special events, and community outreach programs
Lead rehearsals and coordinate performances with choir members, instrumentalists, and guest artists
Provide mentorship and training to emerging musicians and volunteers to enhance their skills
Collaborate with pastoral staff and event planners to select appropriate music that aligns with thematic messages
Support bereavement support initiatives through meaningful musical expressions
Facilitate effective communication among team members to ensure seamless execution of all musical activities

Requirements

Proven experience as a Music Director or similar leadership role in a church or community setting
Strong knowledge of diverse musical genres
Excellent communication skills to engage with choir members, volunteers, children, and community partners
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a talent for mentoring and inspiring others
Experience in event planning and organizing large-scale performances or services
Background in teaching music or conducting choir rehearsals effectively
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
