Qualifications

Self-driven, empathetic people-person with strong relationship-building skills
Confident communicator with polished phone etiquette, solid writing ability, and fast/accurate typing
At least 2 years of experience selling guitars and/or musical instruments
Gear enthusiasts: you genuinely enjoy talking specs, features, and tech with other music lovers
Musicians welcome: performers and songwriters who want to build a long-term career in the music industry

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted gear advisor for customers in-store, online, and by phone
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up and proactive outreach
Manage a personal book of business—becoming the go-to expert for your customers’ music and audio needs
Make 80–100 outbound calls per day to nurture relationships, recommend products, and support purchases
Provide professional guidance on musical instruments and pro audio gear, with a strong focus on guitars
Educate customers across categories—tone, amps, pedals, recording, live sound, and more
Partner with our Product Support team to resolve issues, troubleshoot gear concerns, and ensure a great experience
Join brand trainings, office hours, and product meetings to stay current on new releases and features
