Qualifications
- Self-driven, empathetic people-person with strong relationship-building skills
- Confident communicator with polished phone etiquette, solid writing ability, and fast/accurate typing
- At least 2 years of experience selling guitars and/or musical instruments
- Gear enthusiasts: you genuinely enjoy talking specs, features, and tech with other music lovers
- Musicians welcome: performers and songwriters who want to build a long-term career in the music industry
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted gear advisor for customers in-store, online, and by phone
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up and proactive outreach
- Manage a personal book of business—becoming the go-to expert for your customers’ music and audio needs
- Make 80–100 outbound calls per day to nurture relationships, recommend products, and support purchases
- Provide professional guidance on musical instruments and pro audio gear, with a strong focus on guitars
- Educate customers across categories—tone, amps, pedals, recording, live sound, and more
- Partner with our Product Support team to resolve issues, troubleshoot gear concerns, and ensure a great experience
- Join brand trainings, office hours, and product meetings to stay current on new releases and features
