Job Description:

Music Therapy by McLean is seeking a passionate and qualified Board Certified Music Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise in working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) through the transformative power of music therapy. Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group music therapy sessions to clients, utilizing your specific therapeutic approach.
Develop and implement treatment plans for new clients complete with music-based interventions that address their specific therapeutic objectives.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
Maintain accurate records, including session notes and treatment plan progress notes.
Provide a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages client engagement and growth.

Qualifications:

Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) credential required.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy services to diverse populations. Clinical work in school will be considered as eligible experience in your application.
Comfort working with people of all ages with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and techniques.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to promoting the well-being of clients through positive therapeutic interactions with clients and their families/care team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
