TuneSat, LLC, an audio monitoring technology company, is searching for a full-time remote Music Research Coordinator who will work under the Senior Director of Music Research and will be responsible for the following:

Primary Responsibilities:

Identifying, researching, and organizing unlicensed commercial uses of music from the Internet
Monitoring client accounts using proprietary technology to evaluate video and audio content
Verifying unauthorized uses of music by comparing audio files and researching licensing information
Authenticating copyrighted works against client databases and updating internal records
Investigating additional instances of potential copyright infringements by researching companies and their associated branches, subsidiaries, social media platforms, etc.
Using Microsoft Excel to organize large volumes of data
Maintaining data within a CRM by submitting account information
Balancing multiple research assignments while meeting deadlines
Assisting retained legal counsel with gathering additional data as needed for ongoing matters

Skills & Qualifications:

Relevant bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
1-2 years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-starter who is comfortable working independently
Ability to identify subtle differences in music is a plus
Familiarity with copyright law and music licensing is helpful but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
