TuneSat, LLC, an audio monitoring technology company, is searching for a full-time remote Music Research Coordinator who will work under the Senior Director of Music Research and will be responsible for the following:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identifying, researching, and organizing unlicensed commercial uses of music from the Internet
- Monitoring client accounts using proprietary technology to evaluate video and audio content
- Verifying unauthorized uses of music by comparing audio files and researching licensing information
- Authenticating copyrighted works against client databases and updating internal records
- Investigating additional instances of potential copyright infringements by researching companies and their associated branches, subsidiaries, social media platforms, etc.
- Using Microsoft Excel to organize large volumes of data
- Maintaining data within a CRM by submitting account information
- Balancing multiple research assignments while meeting deadlines
- Assisting retained legal counsel with gathering additional data as needed for ongoing matters
Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently
- Ability to identify subtle differences in music is a plus
- Familiarity with copyright law and music licensing is helpful but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
