We are seeking a passionate Music Therapist to join our team in Wekiva Springs. In this role, you will utilize music therapy techniques to support patients in their recovery journey, enhancing their emotional well-being and promoting healing. Your contributions will play a vital role in our commitment to transforming lives through compassionate care.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized music therapy treatment plans.
Conduct music therapy sessions for individuals and groups.
Assess patient needs and progress through regular evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate music therapy into overall treatment plans.
Educate patients and families about the benefits of music therapy in recovery.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to program development.
Stay updated on best practices in music therapy and behavioral health.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Music Therapy or related field.

Board certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC).
Strong background in addiction counseling and mental health treatment.
Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with developmental disabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
