Job Opportunity: Part Time to Full time Licensed Professional Music Therapist Board Certified
Location: North and East Cincinnati area, Private Practice
Requirement: LPMT and MT-BC with valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Job Description: Music Therapy Care LLC is seeking a licensed and board-certified music therapist to join our private practice in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will work well independently, be creative, have excellent music skills, and be passionate about providing the highest quality services to the clients we are privileged to serve. This position will have the opportunity to work with adults in day treatment programs, children and teens with developmental challenges in a school setting and home visits, and people receiving dementia care in Assisted Living Communities. The position will grow to full time in May 2025 with the addition of two days at a residential adult psychiatric hospital.
Job Requirements: Completing initial assessments and treatment plans, providing on-going weekly 1:1 sessions and group sessions, documenting session notes and quarterly progress reports, communicating with family members and other interdisciplinary team members, participating in staff meetings and supervision.
Compensation: This is an established caseload, part-time with more hours to be added in May 2025. Competitive hourly rate, supervision provided and a flexible schedule. Rate of pay $26-30/hour. PTO, continuing education stipend, and professional liability insurance.
Start Date: January 2025-May 2025, flexible
