Position Overview: The Sunday Catholic Service Music Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading musical elements for Sunday Catholic worship services and associated special events. This includes directing the choir, managing rehearsals, and collaborating with the Catholic Service Chaplain to ensure all musical selections align with liturgical standards.

Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Roman Catholic Church musician and/or worship team director.
Proficient in individual singing, piano/keyboard playing, and leading congregational singing.
Extensive knowledge of Catholic music, including hymns, anthems, and choral works.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with chapel staff, volunteers, and parishioners.
Ability to maintain professional decorum and appearance suitable for a chapel environment.
Must pass a background investigation, including criminal history and security checks.
Working Hours:
Weekly commitment of approximately 3.25 to 3.5 hours (service and rehearsal).
Additional hours for special services and events as required.
Monthly total of approximately 13 to 14 hours, excluding special services.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and repetitive movements (e.g., playing musical instruments).
Capability to lift and transport small musical equipment as needed.
