Pickerington Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for a full time
instrumental music teacher (grades 6 - 12) for the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications: Valid Ohio certificate/license Music (K-12)
Successful teaching experience for grades 6 - 12 preferred
3-5 years of Head Marching Band Director experience preferred
Will work as Lead Teacher for Marching, Concert and Jazz Band
Willing to work as Marching Band Director and Band Director (supplemental)
Experience participating in and knowledge of OMEA adjudicated events preferred
Experience and knowledge of current trends in instrumental music education
Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
Ability to communicate in a variety of ways in order to serve the needs of students and parents
Must be properly certified
