Facilitate roots music rhythms (blues, rock, pop, country, rhythm & blues, rockabilly, jazz, swing- artists/labels) to senior groups and assist the senior groups in playing basic rhythms using (drum sticks, hands, single drums, shakers, etc.) and accompanied by songs from the cited music categories. In addition, present some music history based upon the rhythms which facilitators will be supported with and have access to. Candidates should have a passion for one or more of the cited music categories and a good sense of rhythm. Percussion/drum or music background in other instruments is helpful. A flexible schedule is necessary especially in afternoons (1 - 5).
