Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate board certified music therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. This role offers flexibility in choosing your own hours, caseload, and work locations. You will provide in-home music therapy services and work collaboratively with families to foster positive outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home individual music therapy sessions for children and adults with developmental disabilities
- Conduct assessments and develop client-centered treatment plans
- Facilitate engaging and effective group music therapy sessions as needed
- Maintain ongoing documentation, including quantitative data, for client records
- Build and sustain strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families
Qualifications:
- Degree in music therapy from an accredited program
- Current board certification (MT-BC)
- Articles of Incorporation filed with the Colorado Secretary of State
- Reliable transportation and active auto insurance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proof of current liability insurance
- Background check
