Music Therapist, MT-BC - Board Certification Required, NMT Preferred

$30-$35 an hour - Contract
Responsibilities:
- Provide music therapy to individuals and groups in their homes, off-site facilities, Music Matterz office location. Responsibilities include adapted music lessons, and improvisational play.
- Write brief daily session notes and track goal progression for 3-6 measurable goals per client/group, session planning and charting.
- Write progress reports using provided template.
- Commit to weekly time with client.
Experience:
- Must have a valid certification as a board certified music therapist (MT-BC).
- NMT Certification is preferred
- Experience working with clients of various populations, including trauma, PTSD, ASD, dementia, post stroke, rehab and recovery, Parkinson's, intellectual and developmental disabilities, etc…
- Guitar, percussion/drumming, and piano skills necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families
- Ability to work independently and request support from clincial director as needed

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
