We are seeking a qualified pianist to teach individual and group lessons in the Yamaha Music School in the Gulf Coast Town Center (Fort Myers, FL). Candidates with a degree in piano pedagogy, music education, music therapy, or piano performance are required. You must love teaching and want to impact the lives of people through music. We currently have over 100 students enrolled and will soon expand to 200. I'm looking for one or two people who want to help me build a huge school of joyful musicians over the next several years.
This role involves engaging with students of all ages with support from Yamaha Music School methods, currently serving over 600,000 students worldwide. The Yamaha Music School will provide scheduling (based on your availability), billing, collection, advertising, and a safe, inspiring space specially designed for music instruction. The successful job applicant will pass an audition that includes prepared music, sight reading, basic theory skills such as aural and written chord identification.
