Overview
HIS IMPRINT, a new sacred arts label, is starting a new community recording group: The Hartford Community Gospel Choir. The goal of the choir is to produce original music and albums using local talent. We are looking for sopranos, altos and tenors. Auditions are required.
This is a community and non-profit project. It will consist of both amateurs and professionals. We welcome vocalists from every background. A passion for singing and worship is required.
The choir meets once a month on the second Friday in Wethersfield, CT.
All recordings are from 6pm - 8:30pm.

Singers will also be scheduled individually on specific days for training and solo parts.
Our payrates are based on experience, but there is a strict limit due to our budget. Some of the members in the choir have decided to serve as volunteers, but everyone has the option to be paid.
$18 - 22/ hr - Sopranos/Altos
$22 - 28/hr - Tenors
$30 - 34/hr - Lead singers (only when recording solo parts)
Duties
- Arrive to recordings on time.
- Take care of voice when not recording.
Qualifications
- Auditions are required.
- Basic singing skills are necessary.
- Exceptional vocalists will be offered opportunities to lead songs.
- Individuals must have a passion to sing and worship.
