Job Summary
Musician Now LLC is a fast-growing music education studio in Belmont, NH serving families throughout the Lakes Region in New Hampshire. Our mission is to help children learn with confidence, joy, and purpose through structured curriculum-based music programs.
We are hiring for two group teaching positions:
Mini Musicians Instructor (Ages 5–6)
- No music experience required
- Experience with young children is a must
- All training & curriculum provided
Music Explorers Instructor (Ages 7–11)
- Must have basic music knowledge (theory, rhythm, beginner instruments)
- Experience working with children required
- Curriculum and materials provided
Responsibilities
- Teach small group classes using the Musician Now Curriculum
- Lead age-appropriate activities, games, and music concepts
- Follow structured lesson plans and pacing
- Keep teaching rooms clean, organized, and inviting
- Create a positive, encouraging, fun learning environment
- Communicate kindly with parents and students
- Attend training days and staff meetings
- Help set up and clean up classrooms before/after shifts
Skills All Applicants Must Have:
- Strong ability to work with children in a positive, encouraging way
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance
- Good communication skills with parents and students
- Strong classroom management
- Positive, energetic, patient personality
- Ability to follow the Musician Now Curriculum and lesson plans
- Organization and attention to detail
- Willingness to be trained and work as part of a team
Mini Musicians Instructor (Ages 5–6) – Additional Skills:
- Experience working with young children (ages 3–6)
- Ability to lead playful learning, movement, crafts, and structured activities
- Understanding of early childhood development
- No music experience necessary — training provided
Music Explorers Instructor (Ages 7–11) – Additional Skills:
- Basic music knowledge (theory, rhythm, beginner instruments)
- Ability to teach rhythm reading and foundational music concepts
- Experience working with children ages 6–12
- Comfortable teaching concepts in a fun, kid-friendly way
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 26 per week
