Position: Guitar, Bass, and Ukulele Teacher; Piano Teacher; Administrative Assistant
Location: 9746 Olympia Dr. Fishers, IN 46037
Description: We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic guitar, bass, and ukulele teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree in music with a focus on guitar and/or piano, or be in the process of completing their BA. Private teaching experience is essential. As a teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for performances, and communicating effectively with students and parents. Our school is currently only open Mondays through Thursdays at 2:00-9:00 pm, and Saturdays optional.
Responsibilities:
- Teach guitar, bass, and ukulele lessons , and piano to students of all ages and skill levels
- Prepare students for performances and recitals
- Communicate regularly with students and parents in a positive and encouraging manner
- Utilize technology for lesson assignments and virtual makeup lessons
- Maintain a consistent schedule and arrive punctually for lessons
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis on guitar and/or piano(or in progress)
- Or instead of BA, Guitar experience in different bands
- Private teaching experience for all instruments listed
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with technology
- Must bring your own laptop
- Schedule: Weekday afternoons, starting at either 2:00 or 3:00 pm, with the potential for evening lessons ending as late as 9:00 pm. Saturday optional.
