About Music Link Foundation
The Music Link Foundation is a national nonprofit dedicated to connecting music teachers with students who would not otherwise be able to afford lessons. Through our network of passionate educators, we provide access to music education that changes lives — building confidence, creativity, and community.
We are expanding our network across Vermont and seeking dedicated music teachers (all instruments, voice, and songwriting) to join our mission. Whether you’re a seasoned educator, a recent graduate, current college music student or a professional musician who wants to give back, there’s a place for you here.

Responsibilities
- Provide private or group lessons in your area of expertise (instrument, voice, songwriting, theory, etc.)
- Tailor lessons to the needs and skill level of each student
- Maintain communication with students, families, and the Music Link coordinator
- Commit to consistent lessons (schedule is flexible based on your availability)
Qualifications
- Strong skills in your instrument or discipline (any level from intermediate to advanced considered)
- Passion for teaching and mentorship
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Teaching experience preferred but not required — training and support provided
- Must be reliable, kind, and supportive of students from all backgrounds
- Must Pass Background Check
