Position Overview
Two Live Touring is seeking an experienced Professional Touring Concert Music Manager to oversee all operational, logistical, and production-related elements of a seasonal live concert touring schedule based in Southern California.
This role manages all aspects of touring operations including show advancing, travel logistics, production coordination, audio systems, staffing, security, ticketing, and day-of-show execution. The Touring Manager serves as the central point of coordination between artists, venues, promoters, production vendors, and tour personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Tour Logistics & Operations
- Advance all shows with venues, promoters, and production partners
- Create and manage tour itineraries and daily schedules
- Coordinate hotels, rooming lists, and accommodations
- Arrange flights, ground transportation, tour buses, and vans
- Organize meals, catering, buyouts, and hospitality needs
- Manage tour budgets, per diems, and expense reporting
Production & Technical Coordination
- Coordinate professional sound systems and audio equipment
- Advance PA systems, backline, monitors, microphones, consoles, and stage requirements
- Hire and coordinate audio engineers, production crews, and local stagehands
- Ensure technical and hospitality riders are met
- Oversee load-in, soundcheck, performance, and load-out
Show Operations
- Serve as primary on-site tour representative
- Coordinate venue security staffing and crowd control
- Oversee ticketing operations and box office coordination
- Communicate directly with promoters and venue management
- Supervise touring staff, vendors, and contractors
- Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally
Financial & Administrative
- Review and manage show settlements with promoters
- Track ticket counts, expenses, and final reconciliations
- Maintain post-show reporting and documentation
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years professional touring management or live concert experience
- Strong knowledge of live music touring and production logistics
- Experience coordinating sound systems, travel, hospitality, security, and ticketing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel extensively March–December
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Experience
- National or regional touring experience
- Experience with multi-artist or legacy concert tours
- Familiarity with production and hospitality riders
- Background working with promoters, venues, or touring production companies
