About the Role

I am an independent pop/indie artist with an active release schedule and an established audience. I am seeking a highly organized, proactive Music Administration & Marketing Assistant to help manage the operational, promotional, and administrative side of my music career.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in the music industry who enjoys working behind the scenes to support creative projects and release campaigns.

Responsibilities

Manage music distribution and release logistics (uploads, metadata, scheduling)
Maintain detailed records of songs, releases, and assets
Track deadlines, campaigns, and promotional timelines
Assist with social media planning and post scheduling
assist with video and video editing
Support playlist and press outreach efforts
Organize and maintain contact databases and media lists
Help manage electronic press kits (EPKs) and promotional materials
Monitor basic performance metrics and campaign results
Provide general administrative support related to music operations

Qualifications

Previous experience working with musicians, artists, labels, or music-related businesses
Familiarity with music distribution platforms and streaming tools (Spotify for Artists, etc.)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Comfortable using Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and project management tools
Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
