HJF is seeking a Creative Arts Therapist (Art, Dance/Movement, or Music) to support the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Creative Forces located at Joint Base Lewis-McCord, WA. The Creative Arts Therapists will develop, implement, and evaluate creative arts therapies program for patients. Fosters positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community representatives and visitors. Effectively uses interpersonal communication skills to promote a healing environment.
The mission of the Creative Forces Network is to improve the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of trauma-exposed military service members and veterans, as well as their families and caregivers, by increasing knowledge of and access to clinical creative arts therapies and community arts engagement.
