We are seeking a creative skills coach to support a neurodiverse young adult artist with a strong primary focus on music production, and a secondary interest in short-form video projects such as music videos.
The individual is imaginative, determined, humorous, and benefits from structure, gentle accountability, and consistent support while working toward music-based goals.
Responsibilities
- support music practice, recording, and music production projects
- assist with creative planning and goal setting related to music
- help film and edit short-form video content (music videos)
- break creative tasks into smaller, achievable steps
- encourage routine, follow-through, and independence
- facilitate community-based activities related to music and creativity
- provide reliable one-on-one mentorship
Qualifications
- experience or strong interest in music production
- patience, empathy, and clear communication
- reliability and consistency
- experience supporting individuals on the spectrum
Preferred Skills
- music production tools: pro tools, garageband
- audio recording or editing experience
- basic video editing skills for short-form projects
- ability to motivate and support project completion
