Job Description/Responsibilities:- Teach Audio Recording courses to freshman and sophomore students.
- Participate in departmental recruitment efforts and activities as needed.
- Provide a quality learning experience for all students in accordance with their needs and abilities while maintaining the basic integrity of course standards and objectives.
- Teach and maintain courses in accordance with university and departmental policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Excellent oral and written communication.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the subject area the individual will be teaching. Ability to work with a variety of learning styles and skill levels.
- Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics and challenges of community college students.
- Experience teaching in higher education (particularly community college experience) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
