Rise Up Music Group is expanding and looking for serious A&Rs who already have access to independent artists and want to monetize their network immediately.
This is not a traditional record label role.
This is not for people looking to “learn the music industry.”
We are building a label that works directly with artists at early stages and provides real opportunities, structure, and long-term career growth.
What This Role Is
As an A&R with Rise Up Music Group, your role is to:
Network with independent artists daily (online and in person)
Build real relationships in your local scene
Identify artists who are serious about their music career
Bring qualified artists into label meetings with our team
You are the bridge between independent artists and the label.
What This Role Is Not
Not a traditional A&R position where you sit and wait on talent
Not a creative-only role
Not for people who want a laid-back or passive position
This is for people who move, communicate, and build daily.
Who This Is For
People who already know independent artists personally
People active in their local music scene
Studio engineers, promoters, hosts, creatives, and connectors
Artists who understand how other artists move
Individuals comfortable approaching people every day
If you don’t already have access to artists, this will be difficult.
Daily Expectations
Top performers:
Speak with 20–50 artists per day
Build a consistent pipeline of new artists
Set up multiple label meetings per week
Stay active in studios, events, and online communities
This is a volume-based role. Consistency = income.

Remote hybrid
Work from anywhere
Must be active in your local scene in person
Requirements:
Reliable phone
Internet access
Strong communication
Compensation
$500 – $4,000 per month (commission-based)
Earn per artist you bring into the company
Monthly recurring income based on your artist base
Income grows as your roster grows
No cap on earnings
Top performers can exceed this range based on activity and consistency
This is a commission-based role with no base salary. Income is directly tied to performance.
