Position Overview:
The Worship Music Producer & Songwriter is a part-time, creative role at the heart of Every Praise's musical identity. We're looking for someone who sees their craft as a calling: a skilled producer and songwriter who loves Jesus, loves the local church, and wants to use their gifts to create worship music that moves people closer to Him. You'll work closely with our team to co-write and produce original worship songs from concept through final release. This is a part-time position, with the intention to grow into a full-time role for the right person. This is an in-person, collaborative role. Remote work is not available for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Co-write original worship songs with the ministry team, including melody, lyrics, and arrangement.
- Produce, record, and mix tracks from demo through final master.
- Assist with registering songs through PROs (ASCAP, BMI) and distributing to streaming platforms.
- Contribute creative input while working within the founder's vision and direction.
- Stay current on worship music trends and production styles to inform our creative direction.
- Provide occasional production support for live worship events, including backing tracks, playback, and light technical assistance.
- Attend Every Praise events, team meetings, and ministry engagements as scheduled. Active participation in the ministry community is part of this role.
Requirements:
- Born-again Christian with an active faith. This is a faith-based position and alignment with our values is required.
- Based in the Los Angeles or Orange County area, with reliable transportation for in-person sessions and events.
- Proficiency in a professional DAW (Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton, or similar).
- Strong compositional skills across melody, lyrics, and arrangement.
- Strong knowledge of recording and mixing.
- Humble, collaborative, and coachable. We are looking for someone who sees their gift as something to steward, not a brand to build.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with music publishing basics.
- Experience with streaming distribution platforms.
- Experience working with worship teams in a studio setting.
