I’m Kira, an up-and-coming pop artist building out a strong, long-term team and looking for a vocal engineer who really understands comping and vocal detail.
I was previously working with Heather Holley and am now in a transition phase, looking for someone who can match a high creative and technical standard.
I care a lot about how vocals feel — not just being clean, but emotional, natural, and true to the performance. My sound leans polished, emotional pop (Zara Larsson / Jess Murph / pop diva energy), so having an ear for that is important.
Ideally looking for someone who has some experience within the music industry or has worked with artists before. Credits are a plus, but strong work and taste matter most.
I really value someone who’s calm, detail-oriented, and easy to work with. Respect for boundaries and communication matters just as much as technical skill.
Must have:
– Strong experience comping vocals (Ableton or Pro Tools)
– Ability to create clean, seamless comps that still feel natural and emotional
– Experience with vocal tuning/editing (Melodyne, etc.)
– Examples of previous vocal comping/editing work (required)
Bonus:
– Experience working with artists or within the music industry
– Ability to give light creative input when needed
– Background in songwriting or vocal arrangement
If you’re interested, send:
– Examples of your work (links required)
– Any credits or artists you’ve worked with
– Your Instagram or socials (helps me get a sense of your vibe)
– Briefly, how you approach maintaining emotional authenticity while achieving a polished, high-level vocal
Also, take a look at my work and let me know how you see the vision and how you’d add to the team:
