Job Details for Tutors:
- Part-time, remote position (Houston-based candidates will have in-person opportunities)
- Tutor K-12 & college subjects within your area of expertise
- Keep track of appointments and inform the Director of the weekly schedule
- Provide immediate debrief to parents after each Zoom session
- Online sessions are 55 minutes long
- Preferred availability: 4 PM - 8 PM CST (weekdays), Saturday 10 AM - 2 PM CST
- Must be ready to start immediately
Qualifications for Tutors:
- Passion for working with students
- Certified teachers preferred, but exceptional college or graduate students will be considered
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a university program
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (No visa sponsorship available)
- Professional, reliable, and accountable
Time Commitment:
Summer program schedule at office 10am to 3pm Monday to Thursday (5 hours per day, 20 hours per week).
- 2-30 hours per week, with potential for more
- Evening shifts preferred: Monday-Friday, 4 PM - 8 PM CST
- Saturday availability preferred (10 AM - 2 PM CST)
