Cutting Edge Pediatric and Adult Therapy is seeking a creative, and collaborative Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our team in a part-time position!
This is a flexible opportunity for a music therapist looking to provide meaningful, client-centered services in a collaborative and well-equipped clinical environment. You will have the ability to offer individual and/or group music therapy sessions while working alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and/or group music therapy sessions based on client needs
- Develop and implement client-centered, evidence-based treatment plans
- Utilize music interventions to address communication, social-emotional, cognitive, sensory, and motor goals
- Design and lead group programs (e.g., social skills groups, sensory groups, camps, etc.)
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary providers regarding music therapy interventions and outcomes
- Responsible for timely documentation of evaluation results, progress reports, discharge reports, daily notes, attendance reports as required.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all client interactions
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in music therapy
- Board Certification (MT-BC) required
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong proficiency in voice and/or instruments (e.g., guitar, piano)
- Therapist should have access to and be able to independently provide their own primary instruments (such as guitar or piano) and portable percussion instruments for clinical use
- Ability to independently plan and implement sessions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Physical Requirements
- Ability to actively engage in sessions including movement, standing, and interaction
- Ability to transport and utilize musical equipment
- Ability to assist clients as needed (up to 50 lbs)
