The Major Music Company is serving students in the Frisco, TX area and surrounding cities. We are looking for one piano teacher to sweep us away. The ideal candidate will be a happy person, passionate for the job with an ability to create a relationship of mutual trust with our students. They will know how to make learning an easy and meaningful process. We have wonderful families we are serving in their own homes, and we need someone who wants to fit in to that “family” environment. We do welcome first-time teachers.
Responsibilities
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner
- Provide individualized instruction to each student
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
- Over-communication avoids any issues with parents, we recommend this skill
- Collaborate with parents, and be willing to go to inperson recitals twice a year
- Prepare students to participate in festivals, tests, performances, and recitals.
- Observe and try to understand students’ behavior and recognize how to teach them accordingly
Skills
- Must be able to teach up to an advanced level

*Bonuses will be given every 6 months based on certain criteria met.
