We are seeking a talented and compassionate Music Director to support residents in our Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility. This role is ideal for a versatile musician who enjoys meaningful work and bringing joy through music in a healthcare setting.
Must Be Able To:
- Play guitar
- Play piano/keys
- Sing confidently
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead music sessions and performances for residents
- Create engaging, uplifting musical experiences
- Coordinate group sing-alongs and therapeutic-style music activities
- Adapt music to meet the needs of seniors in rehab and long-term care
- Collaborate with Activities and Leadership teams
Qualifications:
- Strong musical ability across guitar, piano/keys, and vocals
- Comfortable performing in front of small to medium groups
- Warm, patient, and resident-focused personality
- Prior experience in senior care or healthcare settings is a plus (not required)
