Part Time Position - 20-29 hours per week. The Director would play organ/piano for three weekend Masses, Holy Days, special occasion Masses, 2 weekday school Mass. The Director will organize cantors, choir, chimes , guitar groups and rehearsals. The Director will oversee and responsible for weddings and funerals plus all live streaming copyrights.
The Director would require knowledge of Roman Catholic liturgy, and proficiency in organ/piano and conducting.
Administrative Ability: Skills in planning, scheduling, managing volunteers (cantors/choirs), and familiarity with music notation software and, sometimes, sound equipment
Collaboration: Working closely with the pastor and liturgy committee to align music with the parish's spiritual vision
