Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Virtual Music Teacher to inspire and educate elementary and middle school level students through engaging online lessons. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to students’ skill levels and interests across different musical genres.
- Conduct live virtual lessons focusing on music theory and appreciation.
- Manage classroom dynamics to ensure an engaging, respectful, and productive learning environment
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support growth and confidence
- Incorporate multimedia tools and digital resources to enhance lesson delivery
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages creativity, self-expression, and active participation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field preferred.
- Certification in Music Education.
- Teaching experience in music, music appreciation, general music, or a related area preferred.
- Strong knowledge of music history, genres, composers, performers, and the cultural significance of music.
- Ability to create engaging, student-centered lessons that incorporate music listening, discussion, multimedia, and interactive learning experiences.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred.
- Experience with virtual instruction and learning management systems such as Google Classroom, Zoom, or similar platforms is a plus.

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
