Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Piano, Violin, and Guitar Teacher to inspire students of all ages in their musical journey. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans for piano, violin, and guitar lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and skill levels.
- Conduct individual and group lessons with a focus on technique, musicality, performance skills, and creative expression.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create an inclusive, respectful, and motivating environment for students of all ages.
- Incorporate visual arts, choreography, dance instruction, theater techniques, and other creative arts into lessons to enrich the learning experience.
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and exhibitions by coaching them on stage presence and performance etiquette.
- Assess student progress regularly through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, or program coordinators to discuss student development and tailor instruction accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching musical instruments such as piano, violin, or guitar across various age groups.
- Strong background in curriculum development tailored to different skill levels and learning objectives.
- Experience working with children and youth programs, demonstrating effective classroom management and behavior management skills.
- Knowledge of visual & performing arts education including choreography, dance instruction (ballet/dancing), theater experience, and creative arts integration.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and preschool education environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with students on specialized areas such as teaching instrumental performance, music theory, choreography, or dance instruction.
- Skills in photography or sewing are a plus for integrating multimedia projects or costume design into performances.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for inspiring creativity through arts education.
