Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Manasquan, NJ for a Voice Teacher. The Voice Teacher will provide individualized vocal instruction and coaching through private and group voice lessons. Responsibilities include teaching vocal techniques, music theory, and performance preparation, while fostering creativity and confidence in students. Additional tasks include guiding students in the development of musical skills and preparing them for potential solo and ensemble performances and/or auditions. Participation in academy events, such as performances and community outreach programs, is also expected.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Vocal Instruction, Voice Lessons, and Vocal Coaching
- Knowledge of Music Theory and its application in voice training
- Experience in Music Education and structuring lessons for diverse student needs
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and nurture a love for music in students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to contribute to collaborative arts projects and performances
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Voice, or a related field is preferred; general experience required*
- Prior teaching experience in a similar role is a preferred
