Job Opportunity: Part Time Board Certified Music Therapist
Location: North Cincinnati area and South Dayton area, Private Practice
Requirement: MT-BC with valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Job Description: Music Therapy Care LLC is seeking a creative board-certified music therapist to join our private practice in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will work well independently, have excellent music skills, and be passionate about providing the highest quality services to the clients we are privileged to serve. This position will have the opportunity to work with children and teens with mental health diagnoses in a school setting, children and teens with developmental challenges in a school setting and home visits, and people receiving dementia care in an Assisted Living Community.
Job Requirements: Completing initial assessments and treatment plans, providing on-going weekly 1:1 sessions and group sessions, documenting session notes and quarterly progress reports, communicating with family members and other interdisciplinary team members, participating in staff meetings and supervision.
Compensation: This is an established caseload, part-time with more hours during the school year and less work during school breaks and summer break. Competitive hourly rate, supervision provided and a flexible schedule. Rate of pay $22-26/hour.
