Background: Saint Colette Catholic Church, a vibrant, family-centered parish of 2,100 families in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, Ohio, seeks a passionate disciple of Jesus Christ to serve in our Music Ministry as a Part-Time Staff Singer.
Job Description: Candidates will have the opportunity to cantor, sing solo repertoire, or sing in small groups with other staff singers. Availability is preferred for weekend masses. Weekend Mass Schedule: Saturday at 4:00PM Sundays at 8:00AM, 10:00AM, and 11:45AM
Requirements: Must possess proper vocal training Ability to sing in English and Latin Availability for Holy Week, Easter, and Christmas liturgies Preferable Requirements: Degree in vocal arts Vocal flexibility between various styles of sacred music Basic piano/keyboard skills Although a Catholic background is preferable but not required, all candidates should be willing to respect the teachings of the Catholic Church and adhere to protocols of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, Ohio.
