About the Division of Child Life and Integrative Care:

The Division of Child Life and Integrative Care at Cincinnati Children's is committed to the practice of family-centered care by promoting play, education, developmental and psychosocial support. We are an integral part of the health care team who can support the child's outpatient visit and inpatient stay. We can minimize stress and maximize coping of patients and families.

About the Job:

This Music Therapist will support patients and families through live music or interactive music on the Neonatal ICU and the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. The Music Therapist will prioritize patients and families who are experiencing: grief and end-of-life situations; pain; difficulty coping with hospitalization due to depression, procedural or situational anxiety, isolation, or lengthy hospitalization; and altered mental status due to agitation, confusion, psychosis, or neurological impairments.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Day Shift, Monday-Friday

Qualifications:

To be considered, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in related field; meet all AMTA competencies and have completed internship required for certification and have an American Music Therapy Association Board Certification. 0 - 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline

Pay: $23.00-28.00 per hour.
