In Search of: Audio Technician

Job Expectations: ** (This person must be experienced in the live entertainment industry Working knowledge and/or Experience with Audio/Visual is a MUST), open to exciting travel, and working weekends/nights.**

In The Shop:

Assist Department Lead with inventory control and warehouse organization.
Process equipment return - check for damage and proper operation, clean and return to assigned storage.
Meet with department leaders and others to determine and achieve the desired sound for a production or live event.
Other tasks as assigned

At Events:

Set-up and tear-down of Production Equipment at the Event Site that may include video, audio, lighting, staging, and other equipment.
Required to help with load-in and load-out for scheduled shows.
Must be willing to wear appropriate specified attire for concert & corporate events
Provide exceptional and gracious service to our clients while complying with all legal and ethical instructions given by onsite Management.

What You Bring To the Table:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to pass a Drug Screen
Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
Willingness to work a flexible work schedule with a potential for long hours that may include business hours, nights, and weekends.
Willingness to work under varying weather conditions in a variety of environments that can range from ballrooms and convention centers to sports arenas, to outdoor venues.
An understanding of the general industry terms, fundamental principles, and respective roles in a Live Production Environment.
The capacity to adapt to dynamic, changing situations positively and proactively.
A Positive attitude while showcasing that you’re hardworking and diligent, with an eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting live events
Working knowledge of current Professional Lighting systems/equipment and trends
Possess a positive Driving Record and be able to Safely transport audio visual equipment.
21 years of age or older to meet DOT requirements.
Valid Class A or B Driver's License.
Airbrake Certifications (or ability to acquire certifications as a condition of employment).
