We’re hiring a Worship Coordinator who will serve our Kids Worship Community by creating dynamic, spirit-filled, and safe spaces where kids can experience God’s presence through worship, as well learn the basics of what it means to worship God.

Aside from regular weekend services at our six campuses across Central Ohio, our Westerville Campus is also home to our Vineyard Community Center that offers an Early Childhood Center, After-School and Summer Programs, Middle and High School Life Readiness, Sports and Exercise Programs, free Health Clinics, Immigration Counseling Services, ESL classes and more.

Skilled at worship leading and facilitating dynamic, spirit-filled worship for kids
A leader who has a passion to see kids develop a well-rounded view of worship
A team builder who can recruit and manage a volunteer worship team

What you will do:

Lead worship for VC Kids weekend services
Recruiting and maintaining a volunteer worship team
Organize weekly worship through Planning Center Online; scheduling band, vocals, and media volunteers
Schedule and conduct auditions for people interested in joining the worship team for VC Kids; Recruit musicians to play in the band.
Maintain weekly check ins with the Worship Pastor and Kids Ministry Pastor as needed

What you bring:

2+ years’ experience in worship leading & leading a team
Read & create chord charts
Direct a band and lead a rehearsal
Vocal/instrumental ability
Intermediate knowledge of current music technology
2+ years of experience in kids’ ministry/programs
Ability to recruit, lead and train volunteers
Friendly, flexible, able to multitask; enjoys working with kids
Able to work flexible hours; be available on evenings and weekends as program requires
