Qualifications:

Have two or more years of college in music (or related field), or equivalent years of related experience in a chapel/church setting.
Must possess a broad knowledge of Contemporary music, Contemporary and blended style of Praise and Worship music, and how to lead a worship service in a Contemporary worship style.
Be able to plan organize and lead a Protestant contemporary and blended style praise team.
Must possess a detailed knowledge of Contemporary music and appropriate ability to perform tasks such as sight-reading sheet music for piano, play from chord charts and vocal means.
Must have a general understanding and support Christian Protestant theology while working in a pluralistic environment in which the worship service is under the
direction of the lead Protestant Worship Service Chaplain.
Must be proficient at individual singing, playing piano/keyboard or guitar, and leading congregational singing in a Contemporary Christian musical style, Contemporary Christian musical genre, and may be accompanied by other musicians as well as playing and singing individually.
Possess the ability to develop and maintain a healthy and positive relationship with volunteers, Chapel staff, contracting officer representative (COR), and parishioners.
Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English to perform all responsibilities
