Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of all ages. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the diverse needs of learners, including those with special educational requirements.

Duties

- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the varying needs of students, ensuring alignment with educational standards.

- Facilitate classroom instruction in subjects such as adult education, theater, photography, and sewing.

- Utilize behavior management techniques to create a respectful and productive classroom atmosphere.

- Provide individualized support and tutoring for students requiring additional assistance.

- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.

- Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

- Engage with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements

- Proven experience in adult education or working with children in an educational setting.

- Familiarity with special education practices is highly desirable.

- Strong skills in behavior management and classroom organization.

- Experience in tutoring or providing one-on-one support to students.

- Knowledge or experience in subjects such as theater, photography, or sewing is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students and their families.

- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 15 per week
