Job Summary

Responsibilities

Develop original music compositions tailored to specific project requirements and artistic visions
Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to understand project themes and mood
Create and arrange musical pieces using digital audio workstations (DAWs) and other production tools
Adapt compositions based on feedback and evolving project needs to ensure alignment with overall vision
Record live instruments or vocals when necessary to enrich the musical texture
Ensure timely delivery of music tracks for integration into final productions
Maintain organized files of all musical assets, versions, and project documentation

Experience

Proven experience in composing music for media such as film, TV, video games, or theater productions
Strong proficiency in digital audio workstations (e.g., Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools)
Demonstrated ability to create diverse musical styles and genres
Familiarity with sound design principles and audio editing techniques
Experience working within collaborative creative environments and meeting deadlines
Knowledge of theatrical music composition is highly desirable
A portfolio showcasing previous work that highlights creativity, technical skill, and versatility

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
