Glendora Music and Arts School is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Music Teacher who is interested in part time work. We offer training for those who have never taught, and ongoing support for those that have! The difference between us and other Music schools, is we spend thousands of dollars on marketing to make sure you have a full schedule, which in turn means you will have a steady paycheck. Other schools offer higher pays which looks exciting, but when you show up to work you only have one or two students per day which means you make no money. Here we are a positive environment, Have lots of room for growth and pay raises as you gain more experience, And we work very hard at advertising unlike other music schools, to make sure you have a full schedule and a steady paycheck. All you have to worry about is coming in and teaching your students their favorite songs, we have full time desk staff that takes care of everything else. most other schools make you not only teach but take care of all the administrative tasks for no extra pay! Here we are a close knit team and you're gonna rework in an environment where you will not only help change your students lives, prepare them for recitals, and help them reach new levels, you will feel fulfilled as you're giving back to the local community while working for a company that has your back!

We are looking for instructors who can teach Piano, Voice (singing), Drums, Guitar, Violin, Strings, Ukulele, Bass, Brass, Woodwind and more who can teach at an entry level, or a more experienced level.

All of our students are beginners so we don't require an advance level of teaching, only on the instrument you specialize in!

We will consider those who have:

A college degree in music or ability to play their instrument at the professional level.
Availability to teach private music lessons on 1-3 days on a weekly ongoing basis.
Our business hours are: Monday-Friday 2-8pm, Sat 9am-330 PM
Availability to teach group classes as necessary periodically on weekends
Prior music teaching experience.
The ability to work with a variety of ages and levels, with young children a plus.
Strong soft skills such as possessing friendly communication skills and comfortable speaking to parents to debrief after each lesson.
Excellent attendance and ability to be on time. If you need to miss teaching days often (due to gigs or tours), this position is not for you.
The ability to consider this as a medium or long-term position. If you are looking for a short-term or temporary job, this position is not for you.
