Responsibilities

Perform live music at concerts, events, or studio sessions, engaging audiences with energetic and compelling performances
Collaborate with other musicians, vocalists, and production teams to create cohesive and memorable musical arrangements for church services.
Rehearse regularly to perfect pieces, adapt to different styles, and prepare for upcoming services with the choir
Assist in setting up equipment such as microphones, amplifiers, and instruments for performances or recording sessions
Contribute to the development of original compositions or arrangements that align with project goals
Maintain instruments and equipment to ensure optimal sound quality and performance readiness
Participate in promotional activities including rehearsals for recordings or live shows, and support marketing efforts when needed

Experience

Proven experience performing as a musician in live or studio settings
Strong proficiency in at least one instrument or vocal performance; versatility across multiple instruments is a plus
Familiarity with theater productions or stage performance environments is highly desirable
Ability to read sheet music or follow musical notation accurately
Experience working collaboratively within a creative team to produce high-quality performances
Knowledge of sound equipment setup and basic audio engineering principles is beneficial but not required
