Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and inspiring Worship Leader to guide our congregation in heartfelt praise and worship. This vital role involves leading musical worship sessions, fostering an environment of spiritual growth, and encouraging active participation from the community. The Worship Leader will serve as a spiritual guide, mentor, and team builder, ensuring that every worship experience is vibrant, authentic, and impactful. Duties

Lead engaging and Spirit-filled worship sessions that resonate with the congregation’s heart and faith journey
Select and rehearse music that aligns with the church’s themes and seasonal focus
Collaborate with pastors and ministry teams to plan worship services that enhance the message and spiritual atmosphere
Mentor and develop volunteer musicians, singers, and technical team members to foster growth and excellence
Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all age groups and backgrounds
Oversee the technical aspects of worship, including sound, lighting, and multimedia integration
Teach and communicate the significance of worship elements to deepen understanding and engagement among team members and attendees

Skills

Strong teaching ability to communicate the purpose and significance of worship practices effectively
Proven leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and guide a diverse team of musicians and volunteers
Excellent communication skills for clear direction, feedback, and fostering team unity
Experience mentoring emerging leaders within a worship or ministry setting
Musical proficiency on at least one instrument or vocal expertise to lead confidently in rehearsals and services
Ability to adapt quickly to different service formats or spontaneous moments during worship
Passion for spiritual growth, community building, and creating an uplifting worship experience
