-We are immediately hiring a violin instructor for multiple locations (Bergen/Hudson)

Huge plus if you can teach piano, voice or guitar

What We Offer:

$60/hour teaching rate
Flexible scheduling - you set your availability
We provide the students and scheduling support
Consistent weekly students
Opportunity for recitals, showcases, and performance events

Our students range from casual hobbyists learning for fun all the way to highly motivated students preparing for major performances including our Carnegie Hall recital and special events like performing at New Jersey Devils games this fall.

What We’re Looking For:

Reliable, punctual, and professional instructors
Minimum 1-year commitment preferred
Strong with beginner through intermediate students (advanced teaching ability preferred as well)
Ability to teach strong fundamentals, technique, rhythm, note reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and healthy practice habits
Most importantly: ability to make lessons FUN and engaging

We want teachers who can make lessons feel like the student’s favorite part of their week. A great teacher can balance structure and fundamentals while also keeping students excited by teaching songs and music they actually love - whether that’s Taylor Swift, movie soundtracks, jazz standards, classic rock, pop songs, Broadway, or anything in between.

Ideal candidates are adaptable, positive, patient, and able to connect with both children and adults. If a student walks in excited about a song or artist, we want teachers who can turn that excitement into motivation and progress.

Ability to teach multiple instruments is strongly preferred and will help fill your schedule faster.

Comfortable traveling to students’ homes throughout Hudson/Bergen County
