Summary
We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join our team at School of Rock Arlington Heights. In this role, you will inspire and educate students in various aspects of music, helping them develop their skills through performance and collaboration. This position is vital in shaping the musical journey of our students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging music curricula tailored to students' needs and interests.
- Teach music theory, instrument techniques, and performance skills to students of varying ages.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage student participation in performances to build confidence.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall music program.
Requirements
- Proven experience in curriculum development for music education.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent behavior management skills to maintain a productive classroom environment.
- Experience working with children in a teaching or mentoring capacity.
- Knowledge of various musical styles and instruments is preferred.
- Ability to engage students through creative teaching methods.
